36 Weeks Pregnant

i made it to 36 weeks! yes, i know what your thinking, 'she is still pregnant?!' haha, i think by far, the most common craving I have as a pregnant woman this month, is not to be pregnant anymore, lol.
no, i really do love being pregnant, but can't wait to have this last month be over and done with and have a little baby here to coo over and cuddle with!

Surprise Baby Shower

i can't tell you how much i just adore the girls i work with! they are like my family, and we have so much fun together! we are always laughing, and i know that i can depend on anyone of them!
we planned a girls night out to dinner to El Matador. i was excited because i wanted to try and fit in another girls night before i have the baby.
to my surprise it was a baby shower for me! they all spoiled me gifts, from adorable outfits for the baby, to essentials that i have seemed to forgotten about (i'm glad they have my back), to the cutest car seat cover, and hooter hider...yeah you heard me.
thank you so much girls, i just love you all so much and am so grateful for all your friendships!!

Ogden Utah Temple

"I think there is no place in the world where I feel closer to the Lord than in one if His Holy Temples." - President Thomas S. Monson

ryan and i made a goal for this year to attend a different Temple every month for the entire year, which we thought wouldn't be hard since we are blessed with 13 Temples in utah alone. which we thought how blessed we are, and then remembering that this year 2 more Temples will be added by the end of the year. i mean talk about not having an excuse for attending the Temple when we have 15 of them to pick from!!

which i have to be honest, the only Temples i have ever had the pleasure of attending are the Salt Lake City, and Bountiful, so I am thrilled to see all these glorious Temples that surround us!

although i am getting closer and closer to my due date, i'm not going to let that affect our goal. i can't wait to become even closer to my Savior!
since the Ogden Utah Temple is going under construction soon, i didn't want to miss out, so we made Ogden our January pick!

I challenge you all to attend, and to include your family and friends whenever possible! i loved having my parents and the turners come with us, and can't wait till the taintor's are out here for the second half of the year to attend with us.

Let The Remodeling Begin!

ryan and i have wanted to do a little remodeling in the house for a bit, and we were probably let's say a little unrealistic about how long it would take, lol. i also realized after we started that it wasn't a 'little' project, why on earth we decided to start such a huge project a month before i'm due to have this baby! yes, we are crazy!
thankfully we had some awesome loved ones that gave up a lot of their time to come help us! i realized after we started that i didn't even take before and after pictures, or picture of all our amazing helpers! which we had so many! my parents have gone over and beyond helping us! i can't thank them enough, and we are so grateful for both of them! my younger siblings are awesome helpers too, faith and mystery helped watch elizabeth, painted two of the bathrooms, and cleaned my windows! jonathan is a professional blind and bathroom cleaner now, I don't think our showers have ever been this clean! he also tore up most of my base boards, he was a huge helper! i wish i had gotten a picture of my awesome cousin jon. he helped out so much with his time and equipment! we are so grateful to everyone that helped, we would have NEVER been able to get so much done without your help!! Thank you again everyone!
hopefully the house will get to the point that I can post pictures of our finished project!! so,
to be continued....

Jesus Wants Me For a SUNBEAM!!

can it be?! is she already a sunbeam in primary!? YES, this is true!!
since i am the chorister in primary i was worried that she would want to sit up front with me, so ryan came and sat with her. she was pretty quite, but once she made it into class her teachers said she did great. she told them all about how she is going to be a big sister, and help dress the baby. after wards i picked her up from class and she informed me that she got a CTR ring and that it will help her choose the right! now, why was i so worried? lol, this child is defiantly ready for primary!

Elder...I mean, Austin & Sarah Baxter

january 2006 ryan and i decided to take the missionary lessons. we had two incredible missionaries, one of which was just a brand new missionary out in the mission field, his name was Elder Baxter. we always had questions, and he always seemed to be ready with the answers. he illuminated the light of Christ, and we just had a special bond with him. ryan was baptised that february by my dad, and then a year later (a week or so before i had elizbeth) we were sealed in the salt lake Temple. elder baxter was still serving his mission, so we were able to go to the bountiful Temple for our Endowments so that elder baxter could share that with us. he has always been so dear to our hearts and every time he comes up from arizona we always make sure we get together.
we were lucky enough to see him, and his new bride sarah. how wonderful it was to see how happy they are, and to have a new member to adore in the baxter family!!
