Swimming with Friends

now that it's finally warm, papa and grandmerry have opened the pool, and elizabeth can't get enough of it. she loves swimming! especially when two of her best friends, michael and kaylie come over.

Get Together

i adore the girls i work with, and i love when we get together outside of work. one of my favorite friends shari from work started a new adventure, and so she no longer works with us. her and her hubby steven had us over to their new home and we had so much fun sitting around talking and laughing!

The Rodgers Family Is Growing!!

ryan and i have wanted to make an addition to our cute little family, and are so grateful to finally have that blessing.
i was feeling antsy and took a test early, thinking it would be negative and to my pleasant surprise it was positive!!
i thought what a perfect gift to ryan for fathers day! as most of you know though, i have a hard time keeping a secret, especially one such as this!! i'm glad it was just for a day!!

Silly Elizabeth

elizabeth has such a creative imagination. she was coloring with her markers, and then i see her take her flip flops off and put the markets in the flip flop and inform me that they are a 'people family' and they are driving in their car to go shopping. she is so funny, and i love her creative little mind.

Park City

every year my parents take the whole family up to park city for a week, and we always have a lot of fun together!

Park Fun

elizabeth is always pointing out play grounds whenever we are driving. since it was such a nice day, we stopped for some fun at the park.

Amelia's Hospital Stay

our darling niece amelia somehow got a cellulites infection in her leg, and spent three days in the hospital. elizabeth and i spent a couple of days keeping holly and amelia company at the hospital. thankfully amelia had a quick recovery and is as good as new!

cake

i was sitting in our office and saw that elizabeth had made a half circle with some of her stuffed animals. she had a book that was laying flat that she said had a pretend chocolate cake that she baked on it. she was feeding the stuffed animals. after she was done she came up to me and said "mommy, look we ate the whole chocolate cake". i told her that she should bake another one. she turned to me, her face all scrunched up and said "mommy, we can't have more cake or we will get very very sick".

i had to share it was just to cute.
