Mariah's 9th Birthday

mariah is one of my favorite nieces...can i say that? she has such a sweet quirky personality and she always puts a smile on my face. her favorite birthday gift was a surprise (to even her mom and dad, lol) of a hampster from grandmerry and papa.

Love Is One Long Sweet Dream

has it really been 5 year? yes, it has, and i can tell you that there is no feeling more comforting to me knowing that i have been right next to the one i love.
i love you ryan, and i can't wait to experience many more years of our crazy and wonderful adventures together.

Mirror Lake

we were able to pull off a family vacation with everyone. we all really wanted to go camping, and heard good things about mirror lake. it was so much fun to escape from work and home and just be with the family in the outdoors.
it was my first time fishing, and ryan was an excellent teacher. i caught three fish and they were delicious!! mirror lake was beautiful, and i don't think any of us minded sitting my the lake and relaxing, not even the dogs.
the kids had so much fun just playing and getting dirty.
we had so much fun we decided to make it a family tradition! i can't wait till next year when the taintors will be able to come with us, then we will have the whole gang!

Happy 84th Grandma Joanne

my sweet grandma joanne turned 84 years old, and decided to throw herself a pool party. it was fun celebrating with her and having so many of my cousin come and support grandma. you can never go wrong with good people, good food, and good swimming. it was really fun.
the highlight for ryan and i was when elizabeth started swimming with only her arm floaties. she was so brave and she did such a good job!

Swimming with the Turners

it was nice and hot today, so the turners came out for a swim. the kids had so much fun together.

7 Week Ultrasound

i thought the baby looked like a diamond ring laying on it's side and teased that it must be a girl.

Hogle Zoo

can i tell you how much i love having a zoo pass! i love to just be able to go for an hour or so and not feel rushed. it's so fun to see elizabeth have a new favorite animal every time we go to the zoo. today her favorite was the penguins. we even took jon with us, and we all had a good time together.

we spend the day up at the cabin with my parents. it was so nice up in the canyon, the dogs had a blast running around, and we just relaxed. then we can home and let elizabeth celebrate with sparklers. it was a good weekend.

Just One

poncho is always right next to elizabeth when she is eating. you know why? he knows she will give him something to eat. elizabeth always says, 'mom, i will only give him just one treat' yeah, she says that a few times, lol.
