Come In For A Bite

since we celebrated halloween on saturday, we thought what better way to keep the celebration going than to make pumpkin sugar cookies! elizabeth caught on very quickly how to frost the cookies, and got rather creative, it was really fun.

Remember The Gh'oul Times

elizabeth has been talking about being tinkerbell for months now, so we were so grateful when my mom offered to make her costume. i have to say, she did an amazing job and elizabeth was the most adorable tinkerbell i have ever seen! even though she wanted me to be tinkerbell with her, she was happy that daddy was peterpan and i was wendy.
we celebrated halloween at the turners, eating delicious soup and visiting...waiting for the rain to stop so we could take the kids out. when it finally did i think the kids didn't even notice the cold, because they were to excited about the candy they were going to get. elizabeth told us that she loves halloween because she gets to eat lots of candy. it turned out to be a spooktacular night.

Boo at the Zoo

the past couple years we have taken elizabeth to the zoo for their halloween boo at the zoo. when i ask friends to come, they tell me i'm crazy, lol, yes we know it's busy, but elizabeth loves it. she loves the zoo, and to top it off she gets candy! ryan and i like it because we see some pretty creative costumes. this year mystery came with us, as well as my girlfriend amity and her kids riley and lily. elizabeth loves lily, and they both had a lot of fun.

Carving Memories

it has been so fun celebrating halloween this year. elizabeth was so excited to decorate our porch with pumpkins, and we had so much fun carving them.

Elizabeth the Artist

elizabeth loves to draw! she drew this picture of ryan and i. i am on the left, and ryan is on the right holding onto his cane, lol. i asked her why mommy had five legs and daddy only had two, and she responded by saying, "because your so funny mommy". i love that she is our little artist.

22 Weeks Pregnant

Syracuse Pumpkin Walk

we went with our neighbors, the camporas, who we love! they are so much fun, and their oldest daughter kylee is one of elizabeth's favorite friends! we had never been to the syracuse pumpkin walk before this, but it was amazing. there were over 1,000 pumpkins carved and lit up. the kids dressed up, which elizabeth has been dying to wear her tinkerbell costume. we had so much fun, and saw so many interesting, and detailed pumpkins. we can't wait to go again next year!

Alien Elizabeth

elizabeth has such a great imagination. she was playing with her lego blocks and building big towers, and then started telling me how she had to hide in the towers because the aliens were going to get her. i told her the aliens got her, and she held her legos up to her face and told me she was an alien now. she seriously cracks me up, she is such a hoot.

21 Weeks Pregnant

this baby girl is growing and getting stronger every day. i'm feeling great, and excited that we are half way there!

Tired Daddy

ryan fell asleep on our futon, and elizabeth took it upon herself to take care of him and make sure he was comfortable. ryan must have been really tired, because he stayed asleep for the whole event.
at least he never has to worry, this little girl will always take care of her daddy.

Conference Weekend

the turners invited us up to the cabin over general conference weekend. it was really nice to get away, and enjoy nature and spend time with the family. ryan took elizabeth on the four-wheeler, and she just smiled the whole time. her favorite of all things was the swing of course, she always managed to talk someone into pushing her. conference was as always wonderful and renewed our spirits and strengthened our testimony in the Savior and the Gospel.
