29 isn't old right?

I can't believe that 29 years of my life have past me!! I'm so blessed to have such an amazing family, and they continue to spoil me with their love! Although, I'm having a hard time understanding how 29 years have past me by, I'm going to embrace 29! I think this year is going to be full of adventure and I can't wait to begin to see what is in store for me!

New School, New Adventure

Elizabeth was lucky enough to get excepted last minute into an excellent school! Sadly, we transferred her, and I'm crossing my fingers that she will adjust quickly. She isn't super excited about having uniforms, but she looked darling in it on her first day!

Hogle Zoo

Ryan's work rented out the zoo for the day. We haven't been since they opened the new rocky shore exhibit which features extensive multi-animal habitat featuring bears, sea lions, seals and otters. I have never been to the zoo and saw the animals so active, it was pretty neat. We all had a great time.

Utah State Fair

I haven't been to the State Fair since I was a kid! It was so fun taking the girls and seeing all the fun things! Elizabeth loved the science building, they had some pretty cool stuff, and Scarlett of course loved all the farm animals.

Brigham City Utah Temple Open House

I had already been up to the open house with my young women, but I thought it would be great to get the family together and make time to get up to the open house before it was dedicated. I know Elizabeth probably won't remember it, but she is always asking me what it's like in the Temple, and I wouldn't want to miss out on taking my girls to the open house! It was a wonderful evening, and am so grateful that we are able to make it, it's something some of my nieces and nephews won't ever forget.

Greek Festival

We LOVE LOVE LOVE making it out to the Greek Festival every year! This year we were so excited to go with our family and our friends the Tafunas. That morning we got a call that Ryan's dear sweet Grandma Julia had passed away during the night. We had so much gong on all day, but Ryan needed to take his mind off everything, so it was actually a nice evening just being surrounded with our friends and family. I just have to say, that I think Scarlett is part Greek, she was dancing all night, it was hilarious.

Young Women at Brigham City Temple Open House

Have I said how much I love our Young Women. They are all just the most marvelous young ladies! I can't always make it to mutual, but when I heard we were taking them to the Brigham Temple Open House, I couldn't pass up going! I wanted to share this experience with them, and I'm so glad I did, it was amazing!

Elizabeth's First Day of Kindergarten

What a beautiful day to start Kindergarten! I still can't believe my baby is starting Kindergarten, but I was super proud of myself! I totally held it together this morning,I think mostly cause I'm still in shock. I'm just glad that she had a fantastic first day! She loved her teacher and classroom and we even squeezed in some time with her best buddy, her cousin Gabe! I'm sure we have an exciting school year ahead of us and I can't wait!!
