Elizabeth's First Talk in Primary

i couldn't believe that elizbaeth agreed to give a talk in primary, because she is like a different child at church. she is SUPER shy! i'm the primary chorister and i NEVER hear her talk! i explained to her that she would have to stand in front of everyone to do it, but she seemed fine with that.
the day of her talk ryan and i were substituting her class, the sunbeams, and i thought for sure since ryan was helping her, that he would end up giving the talk. boy was i wrong! she had practiced a lot, but ryan still helped her a little, and she did excellent! i wanted to cry i was so proud of her!

her talk was on how there is safety in following the prophet. this was her talk.
Heavenly Father and Jesus love us, so they sent us a prophet to teach us, and lead us in the right direction to help keep us safe.
Joseph Smith was a prophet. He helped give us the Book of Mormon to help guide us so that we can return to Heavenly Father and Jesus.
Today our prophet is President Thomas S. Monson. He has asked us to serve and love one another. I can see President Monson on t.v. when I watch and listen to general conference and do my best to follow what he says.
I know Heavenly Father and Jesus love us because they give us a prophet. Amen.
