It's a GIRL!!!

Well, the verdicts in!!! Ryan is going to be surrounded by all girls!!! I'm still in shock we are having another girl, but so excited! I have to admit I thought this would be our boy. I thought Ryan would be sad it wasn't a boy, but then I realized I have the greatest hubby and I think Heavenly Father knows he is the only man I need and as Ryan leaned over and kissed me today with the biggest smile on his face and said I love our girls and we make them so beautiful, I knew he wasn't disappointed and calmed so many fears of mine! I love that man! I feel so blessed and grateful that Heavenly Father is giving us the opportunity to raise another daughter!

20 Weeks Pregnant!

Yes!! We are half way there! This has been my hardest pregnancy so far. I have been dealing with horrible horrible morning sickness, that I was praying would end...but has yet to do so. However, it has gotten a little better. Elizabeth is so excited to find out the gender and so are we! I'm just excited I'm half way there to meeting this little one!

Chalmers Family Party

Who said you can't have a Christmas party towards the end of January? Love that we were still able to get together for a Chalmers Christmas party. Even if most of the family couldn't make it, we still had a great turn out, and it's always fun seeing family!

What a Day!!

The day started off awesome because of the crazy amount of snow, school was canceled. We thought how great, we will be lazy, and play in the snow all day...but for some odd reason Elizabeth thought she would stick a tiny bead in her ear. She seemed very calm about the whole situation, coming up to Ryan and I saying, "I stick a bead in my ear and now I can't hear and it hurts". I asked her why she would put a bead in her ear, and she responded by saying, "umm, I don't know why, I just did". Too funny! So, we spent the morning at the InstaCare, which of course Elizabeth wasn't happy about, and spent a lot of time crying, but luckily the doctor was able to get that tiny little bead out!
After that, she was one happy girl spending the rest of the day (not exaggerating, about 6 hours) playing in the snow! She had a blast and slept like a baby that night!

I Guess He Liked His Present

Grimm loves chewing, thankfully he sticks to his toys, but boy does he show us what he thinks of his presents we get him! Such a funny dog.

Our Favorite Elder

Our favorite missionary Elder Austin Baxter and his darling wife Sarah! Can't believe it was 6 years ago he first taught us, and every December we look forward to seeing him and his wife!

Wish You a Merry Christmas!

It seems like every Christmas we are running all over with our heads chopped off, not really even enjoying Christmas morning with our kids cause we are in such a hurry. This year was so different and we loved it! We did our own Christmas morning, breakfast with just our little family of four, and it was great! It was so fun watching the girls faces light up when they came down Christmas morning seeing that Santa had brought them a kitchen. We really just enjoyed watching them open their gifts, and Elizabeth was so sweet, kept telling us thank you and giving us hugs, it was so great. Then we just spent the morning playing with our gifts and having fun.
After getting ready, we made a stop over at Ryan's dad Rodney's house and visited him and Ryan's little brother Randy.
Then we spent the rest of the day at the Turners with the family! It was great!

Christmas Eve

Oh how I love getting together with my family on Christmas Eve for one of my favorite tradition. My dad reads the story of the birth of Christ and all the kids dress up and act out the story, it's so fun to watch their faces light up. My kids favorite part of the evening is getting GrandMerry pajamas, they get super excited for those! I'm just happy that we are able to get together as a family and this year was even more special because my grandma Isabel and grandpa Keith were able to join us! Very thankful for my family!
After spending some time with my family, we stopped by Ryan's Aunt Roxie's home to see all the cousins. They spoiled our girls with gifts, and the kids had so much fun playing together for a couple hours. This is the first big holiday without Ryan's sweet grandma Julia, and Ryan was so close with her, he's been missing her a lot. His aunt Roxie was so sweet and in memory of grandma gave Ryan a special gift, a wood puzzle. Every Christmas Grandma would give Ryan a sort of wood block puzzle because she knew he loved them and was so good at them. His aunt Roxie remembered that, and it was just the sweetest thing, and really made this holiday so special for Ryan. I'm so grateful for the family of his that we are able to stay close with.
To end the evening, we had our girls open their Christmas Eve gift, which is always a book, and we sit together and read it. Love this tradition and so do our girls.
