i thought since it took us so long in the hospital to name elizabeth, that we should probably discuss some names. however, we could never agree on any that we both liked.
there were MANY names i liked, but i LOVED the name Scarlett! ryan on the other hand, did not love the name. i thought just in case she looked like a Scarlett i should assist in helping him warm up to the name, you know just in case. so throughout my nine months of pregnancy i would call my belly Scarlett, you know, just to try out. i guess it worked because when she was born we both agreed she looked like a Scarlett. then of course you need a good middle name to complete it. my dad came to both our thoughts so strongly, and that was that. she had a name, and a good strong name at that!
